Autumn depression is popular problem for many of us. If we refer to the statistics we’ll see that every 5th person on the planet has this problem.
And it’s nothing unusual – long autumn evenings and rainy days make us feel melancholy and sadness.
It is believed that the reason for a seasonal depression is the lack of sunlight and the shortening of days. But all this in fact is only a background of our daily problems. Job or family problems plus rainy and cold weather – and here we are, but we should try to get rid of this terrible melancholy. And below I offer you 10 ways to do it:
1. Make your day longer by waking up earlier. Use every sunny day and weekends, go to the forest or walk in a park.
2. Try to understand yourself. Your depression should have a reason. Try to be alone for some time by going for a walk, taking a shower or simply sitting in a chair and think about your present life, your problems.
3. Change the atmosphere at home. Summer is over and it’s time to make the necessary changes at home. Make it more comfortable and bright.
4. Develop as a professional. Perhaps the reason for your depression is in your job? Try to improve your skills, achieve something at work. Or perhaps you do not like your job at all? And you don’t want to achieve anything there? Then think about your future perspectives, it’s high time for this!
5. Develop your personality. Do something you like (find a hobby), try to improve your other skills, find some of your talents etc.
6. Take care of your health. Do some sports. Eat healthy. Remember, if you’re healthy, you’ll be able to cope with all other problems.
7. Add some colorful emotions to your life. Change your image, go shopping etc.
8. Help others. Do something for other people either for strangers or for your relatives. Their smiles will make you happier, I assure you.
9. Don’t use antidepressants. Instead of them use natural products as they will have the same influence but without side effects.
10. And the last one… Remember that autumn is short. Enjoy its colors during the sunny days and when it’s raining enjoy your sweet and comfortable home, and time spent with your family.

@Pocket: kadang-kadang cuaca yang pengaruhi mood seseorang. Autumn sejuk, hujan, basah, mendung. hehe. Dan orang akan bersiap sedia untuk hadap musim sejuk pulak. :)
